Simpa Samson is a documentary filmmaker and video/photo journalist, focusing on conflict areas. Living in Abuja, he often travels around Nigeria, especially to the country’s Northeast. For over seven years, Samson has been shooting for international TV stations, such as Voice of America, TRT World, BBC Africa, CGTN Africa, Africanews, Euronews, Deutsche Welle, Ruptly, and Al-Jazeera. Also, he is working as a cameraman for organisation such ask UNICEF, UNHCR, NBA, and WeConnect International.
